  2. The training I have received at this facility has been fantastic and the only range I attend due to the wonderful RSO’s, training classes, groups and leagues. I like being able to ask questions and have help when needed which will not be possible at larger facilities. I don’t know what I will do if it closes, please re consider closing Wake Firearms and training centre.

  4. The range of public safety and training courses available is a great help in keeping firearm use as safe as possible. If we want to make firearms usage safer, closing the public range where safety courses are taught and where the public can practice shooting skills in a safe environment is completely the wrong direction to go.

  5. I have been using this facility since it first opened to the public. Please honor the original agreement to share the range with the great people of Wake County and surrounding counties. Offering a place for firearms training and education is key to providing a safer community.

  6. Thus is a publicly funded range. It should be under civilian control. This was a range built for ALL citizens to foster firearm safety and training. This is where I recieved my basic and advance classes in NRA pistol, rifle, personal protection inside and outside the home... this has allowed me to successfully instruct many other citizens in safety and protection. It is time to pull the sheriff's office out if the loop in this.

  7. This is why I'm hesitant to support any program that government agencies that Position things as for the people. Eventually they will take it from the people once it's paid for for their own gain.
